Staged Building Inspections

Typically, Stage Building Inspections for New Builds consist of the following stages:

 

  1. Site Establishment and Setout
  • Ensure site has been prepared and setout to commence setout and excavation for underfloor services and concrete footings and slab.
  • Compliance in accordance to Australian Standard and Design documentation

 

  1. Concrete Slab and Underfloor Services including inspection of:
  • underfloor services
  • reinforcement, damp proof course
  • Termite barriers
  • Footing beams and slab design in accordance with engineer’s design
  • Condition/cleanliness of footings and slab prior to pour
  • Formwork

 

  1. Timber Wall and Roof Framing:
  • Compliance with engineer’s design

  • Compliance with Roof Framing Regulation 74 – Supervisor checklist

 

  1. External Wall and Roof Cladding:
